As a celebrant I often find myself the "go-to" person on the day of the ceremony, approached to help in a minor crisis. And so I quickly learned how handy it is to bring a bag full of useful items. So What's in the bag?
There's a selection of tablets, paracetamol, antihistamines, Imodium or Gaviscon (other brands available), even insect repellant spray, all of course offered with the leaflet inside and a word of - at your own risk!
Plasters for a blistered heal as well as a cut finger, a sewing kit, scissors, wet wipes and a selection of mints, pens and note pad and would you believe a spare pair of black socks and a spare tie (some one often forgets). And did you know white chalk is so useful to shade away any small stains on a white wedding dress. Of course these days -always useful a selection of phone chargers. And whether they're for me or guests a snack bar and a banana. Always best to be prepared! (forever a cub-scout)
